Bird Watching

This week, Year R have carried out a bird survey to count the number of birds in our school grounds and the results will be submitted to the RSPB’s Big Schools Bird Watch.  All the children enjoyed spotting birds such as robins, blackbirds, blue tits, starlings, woodpigeons and magpies. The children even spotted a robin’s nest in the year R playground!

Please visit the website link below for how to take part in the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch at home. It’s free to take part in and involves counting the birds you see in your garden, from your balcony or in your local park for one hour between 28 and 30 January 2022.
