We were so pleased to see the colour red flooding through the school gates today in support for the 'Show Racism the Red Card' campaign. 'Show Racism the Red Card' is an anti-racism education charity working in schools throughout the UK delivering anti-racism workshops to over 50,000 young people every year, as well as providing training to teachers. The charity focuses on informing and educating young people in school, the next generation with the goal of eradicating racism in the future.
At St. Bede, we are proud to be an inclusive school and value the abilities, backgrounds and needs of all of our pupils and their families. We believe that there is no place for racism in our society and today we stood together to show our support.
