We will once again be joining the fight against breast cancer by taking part in Wear it Pink next Friday 19th October. We invite our pupils/parents/staff to wear pink for a donation of £2 to the cause. A reminder please, that while children are encouraged to wear pink clothes and accessories but should not spray or dye their hair, thank you.
We would be very grateful if families from Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 (classes: Alswitha, Dickens, Alfred, Swithun, Austen Waynflete, Wolvesey, Symonds, Mallory) are able to help us by sending in small cakes i.e. individual sized cakes (rather than larger ones, which require cutting up). If you are able to provide small cakes, we would be pleased if they could be brought to the school on the morning of Friday 19th October. We will organise the cakes and then deliver 30 to each classroom in the school where the children in each class will be given the opportunity to enjoy one of these lovely cakes! We will then sell any remaining cakes for between 20p and 50p, depending on size, in the playground after school.
(We will be asking families from the lower school to support us when we have a further cake sale to support Children in Need)
