Yesterday, the Year 5 and 6 St. Bede cross country runners took part in a level 2 competition against other schools in the Winchester and Eastleigh district at Fleming Park, Eastleigh.
The children represented the school fantastically; they were respectful of other runners and each other. They certainly showed that they were ‘Safe, Ready and Respectful’.
It was a beautiful afternoon, but a rather muddy 1.5km run! The children ran at incredible speed around the track
finishing in 10th, 24th, 60th, 61st and 62nd place out of approximately 110 children. It was a wonderful afternoon which we all thoroughly enjoyed. Well done!
