Year 1 - Visit to Sir Harold Hillier Gardens

The sun shone on our Year 1 children when they visited Sir Harold Hiller Gardens last week. The children spent a whole day in the great outdoors, taking part in a number of fun and creative activities. The children were able to impress their group leaders with their knowledge of deciduous and evergreen trees and enjoyed using natural materials they had found around the garden to make their own artwork.

We were especially impressed with the children’s engagement and enthusiasm for learning during our trip, they were brimming with facts and knowledge on our return and most said their favourite part was going over the wobbly bridge!
