On Monday, Year 2 visited Holden Farm as part of their learning about minibeasts and microhabitats. The weather was beautiful for a day outdoors and the children took part in a number of activities throughout the day. We were lucky to be visited by experts who shared caterpillars, moths and butterflies with us and we even got to handle slowworms too! In the afternoon, the children went on a nature hunt around the farm and enjoyed seeing the animals as well as getting to spend time running around in the fresh air. We finished our day with some point dipping; we had never seen so many tadpoles before!
