In March, we marked British Science week with lots of exciting learning taking place across the school. The children made themselves into minute timers, investigated making paper flowers open up in water and found out about a range of stereotype smashing scientists. We were incredibly fortunate to be visited by lots of parents who work in the field of STEM who came and spoke with the children across all year groups.  Staff and children found the sessions both interesting and inspiring and we are so grateful for the support provided across our parent (and wider) community, it was an incredible experience that will hopefully inspire the children of St Bede in the future.
