PBS Wellbeing Support Service

The Children's Wellbeing Support Service is a new service to respond to children who have social, emotional and mental health needs that result in challenging/distressed behaviours.as part of on-going work to improve Neurodevelopmental services for children and young people living in Hampshire.

Winchester City Council - Supporting Families in the Winchester District

Hampshire County Council’s Family Support Service (FSS) is part of the ‘early help’ provision for Hampshire. The service is for families with children aged 0–19 years (or up to 25 for young adults with learning difficulties and/or disabilities). Hampshire County Council provide a joined-up, whole-family service to those who have high levels of need, and can also provide co-ordinated help for families on a range of issues.

Friends of the Family - Winchester

Friends of the Family covers Winchester and its surrounding villages, working with families and children who are overwhelmed by family life, and offering friendly support and guidance to help them overcome the challenges they face. Their support is delivered through four key areas of work: Mums and Young Children, 5s to 13s Befriending, Support for Dads, and Counselling.

Home Start Winchester and Districts

Home-Start Winchester is one of over 200 schemes within the national Home-Start movement, each of which is an independent charity which supports families in local communities. 

Home Start provides friendship, emotional and practical help to families in and around Winchester. They acknowledge that even the most dedicated parents can face challenging situations, and aim to support and encourage families to overcome their difficulties and provide a stable environment in which their children can flourish.
