Growing Together

SIAMS Report

The distinctive Christian values are woven throughout the curriculum and life of the school, impacting extremely positively on children and enabling them to thrive in their behaviour and personal development, which are exemplary. (Siams 2018)

Relationships at all levels are highly positive. Consequently, pupils grow in confidence and achieve very well from their starting points because their individual needs are continually provided for within the context of a caring Christian community.  (Siams 2018)

Children are given frequent and very meaningful opportunities in collective worship to reflect deeply upon their personal thoughts, feelings and actions. This develops sophisticated and thoughtful learners.  (Siams 2018)

“This school is a living and growing community’, as one pupil said. (Siams 2018)

Pupils have excellent opportunities to learn about other cultures, traditions and countries. This ensures that they have a very keen grasp of the diverse communities in Winchester and further afield in England and across the world. This is underpinned by the high levels of respect that children show for difference. (Siams 2018)

One child said, ‘If you have a dream, this school is a good place to start on it’. (Siams 2018)
