Growing Together

Welcome

Welcome to St. Bede Church of England Primary School!

A warm welcome to our school.

The school is situated within a vibrant, diverse community in the centre of Winchester providing education for children from a rich variety of backgrounds. We strive to provide an excellent education for all our pupils within a caring, inclusive, stimulating and motivating learning environment. To help us achieve this aim, staff, governors and parents work in close partnership together with added support from the Diocese of Winchester and the local parish churches of St. Bartholomew’s and Holy Trinity. Being a Church of England school, our ethos is embedded in Christian values which underpin all areas of school life.

Our school is a happy, thriving primary school for children aged 4-11 years old. There are fourteen classes across the school with 420 children on roll. In addition to our well qualified teaching staff we have a number of excellent learning support assistants who work across the school supporting and enhancing children's learning where necessary.

I hope you will enjoy your visit to our website. We have tried our best to make it attractive and easy to navigate, whilst being informative and of course useful!

If you need any more information or would like to make an appointment to speak with me, please do not hesitate to contact the school office.

Yours sincerely,

Sarah Duck, Headteacher
