On Tuesday 13^th May, the Year R Classes were visited by the Creature Teacher Company. Lisa and Jade brought all sorts of creatures with them and told us facts about each one and how to stroke or hold them. The children met Nanouk the ferret, Steve the blue-tongued lizard, Nanonzo Al Fonzo the snake, 3 millipedes and then watched Thistle the owl, take flight across the classroom and land on a child’s arm!

 

Everyone was thrilled by the visit – eyes were wide with so many smiles and enthusiasm. No one wanted the session to end! This visit was generously funded by the HSA which we are very grateful for. The children will have such wonderful memories of such a fun and interesting enrichment opportunity.
