Growing Together
On Friday 28th March, Year 3 went on a trip to Butser Ancient Farm to link to their learning about Stone Age to Iron Age. They learnt how to spin yarn from wool, light a fire with wood and flint, and carve pictures in chalk. Additionally, the children had the opportunity to become archaeologists and dig to find treasures from the Stone, Bronze and Iron ages!
The children were fantastic and the staff at Butser were very impressed by the amount of knowledge they were able to share about the topic. Well done everyone!
