Last week, Year 6 classes welcomed Reverend Karen into their RE lesson for a fascinating discussion about the two gospel accounts of Jesus’ birth.  The children were eager to learn more about Matthew and Luke—why they wrote their versions and what makes each account unique.  Reverend Karen brought along crib figures from the church, and pupils worked together to sort them into categories linked to Matthew’s story, Luke’s story, both, or neither.  This hands-on activity sparked great conversations and helped deepen their understanding of the different perspectives in the Bible.  It was a truly engaging session that gave the children a fresh insight into these important stories.
