To finish the first half of the summer term, Year 6 had a choc-tastic adventure to Cadbury World!  They had a wonderful time sampling melted chocolate in pots, riding the 4d Cadbury adventure ride and learning all about the rich history of chocolate. They also enjoyed a talk about the ancient Maya and discovering how they used chocolate as part of their daily lives.

 

A wonderful day out and plenty of sweet treats to take home! The trip, generously subsidised by the HSA, was a really engaging hook into our history topic which created many happy memories along the way.
