We were delighted to receive a letter from Damian Hinds MP congratulating us on the achievements of our Year 4 pupils last year when they undertook the multiplication tables check. The letter stated ‘Your average pupil score of 24.6 out of 25 makes St Bede Church of England Primary School one of the top 200 performing schools in England for the multiplication tables check.  The excellent achievement of your pupils is something the Government hopes to see replicated in schools across the country.’

 

This was a lovely acknowledgement of the hard work of pupils, staff and parents in preparing for this screening check, which took place in the summer. Congratulations to all involved!
