At the end of November, our Year 4 pupils were very busy making their very own pizzas, lined to their wider topic learning. Here is a report written by Year 4 pupil Joy: ‘We were learning about Roman civilisation in History and linking this to all things Italian, we made fun, tasty pizzas. Alongside this, we found out about Franco Pepe - a world famous Pizza Chef before trying traditional toppings so that we could decide what to put on our pizzas.

 

We made the dough with only two ingredients - yoghurt and flour. I thought this was very cool and I would like to try it at home! We chose our own toppings so we could personalise the pizza. It was a great experience to share!

It was really fun and we had a lot of help from the teachers who even bought us ingredients (with the money kindly donated by parents), which was really helpful.’
